Data Activation - Educate-Accelerate-Elevate

Data Activation WP 22.jpg

For a credit union to be successful with data,  it has to overcome two pain points:

            1. Filling organizational data knowledge gaps.

            2. Providing a framework to help launch a

                credit union's data journey.

This white paper highlights the methodology and results of the offering.

The Case Study

Provides insights on how a student has applied the  knowledge learned to:

  • Reduce wait times for members who are opening new accounts.

  • Launch a new intranet and make it the primary hub where employees can find policies, procedures, and communication—organizing these resources so they’re easy to find.

  • Improved communication between platforms, including Salesforce, Symitar, and MeridianLink to provide a more seamless member experience.

  • Increased product knowledge training for employees so that they are providing the most accurate information to members.

CLARITY TO LAUNCH

I wish I had taken this class sooner. While I came to the credit union with a strong ability to do analytics, I didn't know how to make it an organizational priority and connect it to the credit union's vision, mission, and strategies. Those pieces included creating a vision, solving for member friction, assessing data maturity, building a data analytics capability, doing data governance, and creating a culture of data consumption.

DATA STUCK TO DATA SMART

Thank you again for providing such great information in a way that’s easy to understand and execute.  I think data becomes overwhelming, especially because so many of us credit union employees are already the “hat people” wearing multiple hats and have a full plate of responsibility already.  Finding time to dig into the data sets that we already have just doesn’t seem manageable for many of us.  Your classes and the design/structure of your book makes the pieces manageable and easy to follow so I really appreciate that.

THE GIFT OF TIME

Our entire management team has been very interested in data... We started with a simple goals-tracking dashboard.  This dashboard is provided to our entire team weekly and is discussed during our weekly all-staff meetings. Staff seems to be very motivated by the goals dashboard provided every week.. the lenders and they have consistently met and exceeded their monthly goals since this dashboard was rolled out.

We were able to clean up our monthly reporting saving about 8 hours a month for staff
